About Us

The BRAIN Big and Little Buddy program (Building Respect for Autism Inclusiveness Now) is dedicated to fostering acceptance, inclusivity, and belonging for children on the autism spectrum. Through engaging after-school courses, we empower 5th-grade students to develop a deeper understanding of neurodiversity by exploring concepts of diversity, acceptance, and respect. Our program integrates play-based learning, guided by occupational therapists and preschool educators, to create meaningful peer interactions that build empathy, social connections, and lifelong advocacy for inclusivity

BRAIN's Annual Reunion

Every spring, the BRAIN Big and Little Buddy program  hosts a special annual reunion.

As Big Buddies transition to middle school, BRAIN created this event in celebration of Autism Awareness month and allow Big and Little Buddies to enjoy the day together having fun at various play stations, games, and an Easter Egg Hunt!

With the dedicated help of volunteers and parents, BRAIN has been able to make this event possible since 2024 and to continue its mission of fostering an inclusive environment for all.
